Principal’s Corner

Principal Angela Peters leads the Wildcats at Velasquez Elementary. With 23 years in education, including 16 within Lamar CISD, Ms. Peters has served as a teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal. She is a graduate of Sam Houston State University and Lamar University. Her leadership reflects both professional dedication and a personal commitment to building relationships with the students, staff, and families in the community.
