Velasquez Elementary School

Hello Wildcat community,

It’s an honor and blessing to serve as principal of Velasquez Elementary for the 2023-2024 school year! My educational career began in 2005 as a preschool elementary special education teacher. Since then, I had the pleasure of teaching students in 2^nd through 6^th grade, becoming an instructional coach and assistant principal. My life purpose is to inspire everyone I meet so they can empower others.

I am dedicated to the academic growth, mental health, and safety of every student and to remind them of our school motto: Wildcats, Never, Never, Never Give UP!

Greetings Wildcat Families, 

I am so excited to begin the 2023-2024 school year as your Assistant Principal. I am entering my 10^th year in education. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3^rd grade as well as served here at Velasquez as an instructional coach for the past two years. 

I am so excited to work with the staff and community to make sure we have a fun and safe school year! Go Wildcats!
