Providing the Skills, Confidence, and Resilience

Needed to Thrive Today

And Boldly Shape Futures

My job at Velasquez is to make sure that all of our students are academically and socially successful not only here at school but also in their personal home life. I work with students, teachers, administrators and parents to create a positive school experience and ensure our students are striving to be their best selves every day. I truly believe that being a school counselor is the best job on earth and I love every minute of it.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer or mentor at Velasquez, please complete the following applications for district approval.  If you wish to be a mentor, you will have to complete both applications.
